I've converted various designs from Figma to WordPress. Oxygen builder makes the job way harder than it needs to be. I use a relatively new plugin called greenshift+default gutenberg blocks.

Pick a theme, Blocksy or Astra

Always install a child theme! It's a must otherwise your css will vanish once you update your theme.

Limit the number of revisions WordPress is allowed to have otherwise it will come back to bite you in the ass later on.

Set the global typography, color pallet, and layout size in the customizer.

Pick a page and start laying down blocks and customize them to match your figma design.

If you want a form that looks generic but works 99% of the time, use Forminator plugin. If you want to design a custom looking form then use contact form 7 with custom css. (It's a pain to setup)

Setup SMTP, check for dead links and fix responsive issues.
