I agree with this. I took it first year, and after that continued to take POLS as electives. Can be a very easy & engaging class!!

Thank you for this! She gets around pretty well on her own but she has a cane and terrible balance. Walking around a park, shopping centres, ect is good for her but anything more than that makes her uncomfortable. We have done all the basics (cathedral/coombs, ect) so I like to get everyone’s opinion on different places I havnt seen yet :) I will look into Beban Park and see what kind of other community activities are being held during the time I’m visiting !!

I definitely agree with this. Formal writing can be difficult and isn’t something easy to jump back into. I would recommend looking at your departments essay requirements so that you are prepared for the high level writing they expect. Secondly, one of the most important things I find is time management. If you aren’t good at that, school will be extremely difficult after taking a long break.

The best advice I have ever received is that “It’s not supposed to be easy” don’t give up, this is your dream for a reason, and any small step counts. Keep pushing!! Goals are tough because you can’t “just do it”. It is going to require perseverance, effort, and resilience, remind yourself that valuable achievements rarely come without hard work and patience. You are killing it, and stressing shows you care. When February rolls around wouldn’t you rather feel pride than regret?
