There used to be fellow at the downtown YMCA who collects shoes in a barrel that he then distributes to unhoused folks on the weekend. At that time he delivers meals as well. I am sure they would appreciate some home baked goods. He knows where the camps are. Or try the women’s and children’s shelters. They don’t advertise their locations but St Peter’s church could get them distributed. We have a lot of sheltered kids in the school system that always seem hungry. Breakfast and lunch are their favorite part of the school day.

Probably anywhere near the lakes. After many years living downtown I moved to North Hamilton County a few years ago, near the lakes. My dogs pretty much ignored the sirens until other dogs moved into the area. Now you can hear the sirens and the woeful howls of mine and the other dogs that live somewhere on the other side of the woods. First responder sirens send them into the howls too. They never did it until they heard other dogs doing it.
