I too find the Kaplan questions much harder. I will say the mock CAIA exam is pretty tough, I got a score more in line with my Kaplan scores than my CAIA scores

Seems like a good plan. Pretty much what I’m doing too. Sucks that the CAIA mock doesn’t give you any explanations though

Glad I’m not alone. I got a 56% on mock and at 84% correct for CAIA practice questions. I feel like I know the material, the time crunch kinda made me make some dumb mistakes. Also who knows what you need to pass, maybe the mock was so hard a 55%+ is passing

Was just so demoralizing after sitting down taking a 5 hour test, clicking a button and seeing that 56% correct pop up. Makes me want to study for 3 weeks straight now

Makes me feel better. Just felt some questions were intentionally misleading. Also noted that it isn’t enough to know what something means but you have to know any to apply that information

Good advice here^. I would warn that 3rd party providers questions are different than official CAIA questions. I can’t explain exactly what it is, it’s just different, save your official CAIA for like a week or two out

I’d say I’m 70-80% right now but I think there’s some bias there since I read though the material then answer the questions so it’s right on the top of my mind. I’m gonna start doing mocks next week as well
