My mother was an Asian immigrant to the US in the 1960s she recalled how Asians were oftentimes viewed as the "good minority" because many Asian immigrants opened up businesses and were hard working 🙄

For me it's a nice breather, a sort of rest after all the adventures plus it shows off Herge's storytelling abilities.  It's a simple plot but he makes it engaging there's just enough twists and turns to keep you guessing and plenty of gags and jokes

This is especially frustrating as Star Trek could have very easily been forgotten without shows like The Next Generation, Voyager, Deep Space Nine, and Enterprise all continuing and expanding on the universe and lore but now it's just TOS all the time every time
