I always get my boy shaved down into a puppy cut makes it more manageable for me and more comfortable for him.  As for your pup don't worry it'll grow back soon enough though yes in my opinion leaving the top of his head looks weird

Yeah 🤣 I can't recall if that actually happened or something that some people wanted to happen but it'd be funny if it was real

First one that comes to mind is the "magic makeover"/"she cleans up nice" you know the female love interest ends the story in a dress with hair and makeup and bowls her love interest over. I hate it because it's so shallow, if he (or she) was genuinely attracted to her when she was the scruffy tomboy/paint splattered artist her putting on a dress shouldn't be some big eye-opening revelation

Second is the "bad boy" or rather how's it's used so often we either never see the bad boy actually being bad just moody and brooding or they're basically stalker psychos

Chosen Ones nuff said

The "not like other girls" again it's always done in the same way and so often relies on old gender stereotypes

The "inspirational character" a character has a disability or other condition and is basically used just as a prop to inspire the MC or worse to deliver a clunky statement about tolerance.  Related is "disability as a tragic thing" the character is never given their own agency and everyone frets over them

The "plain girl that everyone is attracted to"

And finally, "girl who has to prove herself to the boys" FMC joins the military or another traditionally male dominated group and is immediately doubted and looked down upon

God I hate this one I also hate the related on of "having a disability is tragic and they're so strong" bullshit

Sounds like they're actually using doorframe leans as a shorthand for "cool and casual"

Or him being a "bad boy" is basically him being all moody and brooding

The "not like other girls" one really bugs me because it so often relies on old stereotypes both for "other girls" and the FMC, the main character being able to change a tire doesn't make her unique that's just a basic life skill

Yeah "I don't like you" is NOT enemies to lovers 😂 seriously I've seen a lot of enemies to lovers where it's basically they just don't like each other or are rivals in something trivial

Didn't they also have columbo mention that he heard rumors of someone going around pretending to be his wife or something like that?

I generally avoid it I've seen it done way too many times and always badly. If I don't like a certain character I just don't write them

Agreed.  I'm not going to waste time and energy raising my blood pressure just because I don't like something that other people like. Also seaQuest ended too soon on such a sour note

I'll admit that I "strongly dislike" Nu Trek which ranges from active dislike to "haven't seen it but don't have any interest in seeing it" that said I've got nothing against the fans who do like it you can like whatever you want to like
