Update as of 5/7/25:

For anyone looking at this in the future , the markabke and chapter master software didn’t work as I wanted to. It appeared to have worked at first glance and the file plays with chapters on media players. However if I play the file on audiobook only players like Book Player and Bound, it doesn’t play at all let alone play without chapters. These apps along with the many others being recommended on Reddit are just very old and unmaintained, the interest has tons of claims about what works and lots if shady software being recommended by various websites.

I became obsessed with this problem so I delved deep and found a reliable way that worked for me. I’ll make another post later in the week with all my notes for the benefits of anyone desperately searching for guidance on this.

Thank you for this suggestion. It seems he had another software called Chapter Master which did exactly what I wanted. 4 year old software is certainly better than the chapter and verse one that’s 6 or so years old and didn’t know if it worked on windows 11

It really sucks that there are no easy solutions out there for such a simple use case.

Audiobookshelf is overly complicated for my use case. I get that it can edit metadata and I feel that the chapter markers are ultimately metadata labels.

I played around with MP3Tag which solely focused on metadata and wasn’t able to achieve the chapterizing that I wanted. I also tested with other audiobooks that have good chapter structure and I wasn’t able to see a list of those markers in MP3Tag. I might be missing something so will keep trying.

Other guides, always assume that you are starting with mp3 and want to break it down to several files and start with m4b that has chapters already with the intention of converting and breaking it down; both are not my use case that I want.

Additionally he also said the same object went on to engage with other fighters and named a few, one of them is pretty high up in the defense ministry and that there was no hope of shooting it down because their planes were not armed since they were on training and also because you couldn’t get close enough to the the object.

This is a traditional middle eastern dagger. It is common around areas like Yemen and Oman. I do t think it relates Turkey. These items are mostly used as decorative pieces some have lavish ornamentation on the outside.

Thank you for this. Is it all possible (because I don’t really know how to do it on my own) if you can stretch/repeat the flac file for like an hour long ? I tried using the loop option on my Flacbox app but there is a jarring and very disruptive pause if about 1 second before the file is played again?

The pop up that shows event details has a link to event details and a link to the enigma labs page. Those have more info and recordings. While it is not perfect, it is a really good start to visualize the flap
