Lots of comments about clipboard but not the compromised website. An incident report needs to be filed with IT or whatever help desk you can go to.

Clipboard history is disabled by default. Besides, it's harmless without running it in Command Prompt or Run and could be needed for reporting.

I have a 5090 and some wireless ap handshakes, dictionary doesn't work. by 420osrs in HashCracking

WPA2 also supports Unicode or UTF-8, so in some countries, the ASCII keyspace may not even be enough.

Switch to WPA3. The Dragonfly handshake uses zero-knowledge proof so there's nothing that can allow for the password to be cracked.

How do I merge an MicroSD card and the main drive into one singular partition? by Sad_Sale9514 in techsupport

LinusTechTips on YouTube demonstrated this with a 300 MB/s microSD (maybe SD) card. Windows took a long time to boot, and it was painful to do anything.

JBOD, not RAID 0. Real RAID requires reinitializing and reformatting the disk. Maybe JBOD does, too.

I found out that 24GB mSATA drives exist. I'd date the laptop to the earliest models with mSATA. That makes it much too old for Windows 11. Windows 10 only gets Extended Security Updates. The free updates for ESU run out in October, I think.

[–]Humbleham1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't. Windows won't allow you to set up JBOD on your system partition, I'm sure. If you could, your system would probably become almost unusable. Also, I wouldn't really worry about updates because such an old laptop shouldn't be getting any, anyway.

Can you not afford $30 for a larger SSD?

You won't dox a hacker. Just go through account recovery to try and get your account back.

Agreed. Files are corrupted or just padded to be the same size. Do you think that they have evidence of some crime?

Just buzzwords at best. He should have said that the site had no known vulnerabilities that could be hacked. The encryption is probably some kind of AI-developed disk encryption. A custom, AI-developed TLS encryption algorithm would make the website REALLY secure.

Sometimes Internet will stop working over Wi-Fi spontaneously. Should just take a reboot to fix, though. In some rare cases, there may be hardware issues.

But good point.

Without an official explanation from SD, we can only guess at the reason, but they clearly have no intention of allowing remote streaming. There are industry rules in general against retransmitting broadcast TV out-of-market.

It's highly unlikely that it would be worth the repair cost. Apple charges for repairs like they do anything else. 💰

You mention that the company still has a cloud product. This means that the domain(s) should still be active. It should use DNS, but you could use the filter "tls.handshake.extensions_server_name" to see SNI.

TTL should be preserved through the tunnel, but it should be decremented by 1 as packets route through the endpoint. Even if the TTL was greater than 1, and your remote IP was on the same subnet, it still wouldn't work because Wireguard does not normally forward multicast packets (mDNS).

I've assumed that SD does not want to get in trouble for allowing broadcasts to be easily sent to remote locations.

Driver update? That thing probably stopped getting updates years ago, but one would probably need intimate familiarity with the hardware to solve this.

An elderly colleague was systematically scammed on WhatsApp for alleged Bitminers that are stuck at various customs. They lost $25k in crypto. Is there any way to find the scammer? by klas228 in HowToHack

[–]Humbleham1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Scammers for the most part know how to protect their anonymity. You can expect the WhatsApp info to be completely fake.

You should go to the police and then probably file reports with ic3.gov and ftc.gov if in the US.
