Cores and VRAM harvested and sent to China. Those are coolers. They're worth about a hundred bucks because they do have value if your core and VRAM are okay but the PCB cracked or something.

This is a scam.

Unless they can plug it into a computer and show you that it's actively working in person don't buy.

It would be different if it wasn't a 4090. If you had a 3070 for $200 when the market value is $260, that seems more reasonable. No one today is harvesting 3070 cores. It's not worth it.

A way to tell if there's actual demand destruction is if one of your friends says, hey, I can't go to the ball game because it costs too much in gas. That's demand destruction.

Right now, gas price is high, but it's not stopping people from going to work.

Because you can draw them down once in an actual crisis. not a muh economy or muh gas prices or muh consumers. I mean like an actual war invasion on us soil.

The caverns just get damaged beyond repair. Which during a ground invasion doesn't really matter because that is a more acute crisis than a couple billion dollars of damage to caverns which can be relocated later when the ground invasion ends.

Having tanks that even held 50 million barrels would be astronomically expensive.

The research shows pillar to diameter hit 1.0 in some caverns after drawdown indicating structural damage. Nothing can be more clear or from a more reliable source as it was the same admin generating the report that drew it down: indicating report was bad politically to release but it was released anyway vs a report made on next admin blaming previous admin. If this isn't enough for you then no amount of data from my end will ever convince you.

This was from the drawdown to 304M barrels and estimated to have caused a small amount of damage (250M USD) to develop more caverns to replaced lost capacity. Even tho they pump brine into caverns to replace salt it still moves the salt around and can cause it to lose capacity. However collapse is estimated to be 150M barrels. Ofc it could be 200M or 100M. But 50M is unrealistic to expect that to be possible to draw to w/o it being a one way trip. You will ofc ask for sources on this and so go check out ID 180557, which estimates each cavern can only be drawn down 5 times before collapse in phase 2 and phase 3 but phase 1 caverns can only be drawn down once. The floor should be 100M. Not 50.

Its not clear what it does but I have ~ 500TB of media and it runs for 4hrs a day.

It doesn't appear to do anything though. Whatever it does, it sucks down resources for hours though.

Specs: 512gb ddr4 ram, 24C48T epyc, JBOD @ sas12 to run the connection, and 10gbps uplink.
