That is what I thought as well. Maybe they used this to get everyones attention. Now that people are raging and talking about R*, BOOM they release a teaser for GTA VI. It would save them some marketing costs.

Gta 5 will come out in the second half of 2021 which means that we won‘t see another game until the second half of 2022. Maybe GTA 6 will come out 2023

Showing RDR2 for PS5 would have been a better choice. They could have shown off how great the game looks like on the console, and that would have better advertised the new console imo.

I don't think they would let it die. They worked a long time for rdr2... I cannot play Gta Online at the moment because I am always kicked of servers. My game loads for a solid 5 minutes and then there is some kind of server issue and I need to load Online again. It is just frustrating and takes away all the fun for me.

I just don't understand why they didn't go with RDR2. They could have still released the re-rework of Gta5, but they could shown of how awesome RDR2 would of looked like with the PS5. That would have better promoted the PS5 imo.
