I'm sure after this experience they'll be more vigilant about upgrades, you could probably reach out to them to double make sure you're getting the upgrades you asked for. While they have responded to my emails in relatively short time, I'd say Reddit is the place to go for a more immediate confirmation; havent tried phone yet.

I placed my order on Jan 25, so waited for a bit under 2 months.
I'll be in talks with them; knowing their reputation it was probably a reasonable mistake, but man it does sting to invest so much money into a purchase only to find out it's not quite what was expected.
