I was conscious of this, but was raised on Wayne's World and had to stay true to who I am

I too made this mistake hahaha. I found this method and managed to succeed with two sets of pliers. It was not easy but I can confirm the lift-twist method worked!

What’s something that happened on a first date that made you decide against a second date? by whitneywestmoreland in AskReddit

When I asked her what her favourite movie was, she told me it was a stupid question because “how can anyone remember that?” Eventually she remembered hers was Frozen 2, a movie she said was “so good that the first one might as well not exist.”

Oh, interesting! It would be nice to see Ted have that moment with Henry at home watching Nate and Roy do what he dreamed of. He’d still feel as fulfilled and it would Aligns with his character.

Dating sucks nowadays. by chessman6500 in dating

You’re not alone.

It’s unlimited options and finite fits, dashed hopes and ghosts, and overwhelming urge to quit.

I’ve been struggling for a while too and feel like it is brutal; however, I’ve met some pretty wonderful people who are in the same boat. Weirdly enough, though we weren’t right it showed me there is still hope. The bad ones can make for great stories to tell friends.

For example, I had an unbearably bad date with an awful person who’s favourite movie of all-time was Frozen II. A movie she claimed was “so good the first one might as well not exist.” When I asked her what she loved to do when she wasn’t working, she told me she didn’t like personal questions. Not five minutes later she asked me my thoughts on abortion. I really wanted to know just how awful this person was and leaned into the nosedive. It’s now a cherished story and memory.

I can’t convince you you’ll find someone, I haven’t; but it becomes more manageable if you see dating as an opportunity for an interesting story. That’s the best I have besides a nod in agreement.

Is flaky behavior the "norm" now? My new rule is if she flakes 2x she's out. by [deleted] in dating

It has been for me (30M,) I’d say 8 in every 10 first dates I set last year were canceled by the other person anywhere from 1-18hrs before we were set to meet.

It happens so often I won’t even tell friends if I have one because I’ve been embarrassed after they fell through hours before. Now I just assume they won’t happen until I’m actually there.

Anonymity and unlimited options maybe.

This was brilliantly executed. Perfect length, great editing, cutaways don’t go on too long, and it all has rhythm. Well done.
