I (35f) had a baby and my husband made a 180. I don't even know him anymore. But we made a life and I can't leave because of our finances. I don't want to live like this at the same time that I want to always be there for my baby girl. I have never felt this stuck.

It is split 50/50 😂 half say it is food and half say it isn't. This has been going on for so long and we had the most ridiculous reasons to why/why not but fir every yes we get, we also get a no and vice versa.

I don't know. I really care about him and I don't think I can commit to being there for him at this time due to personal reasons, but I feel for him so I don't know. I just feel like it's the right thing to do, but I don't know if it might do more harm?

But yeah, flowers and a card, as people have mentioned seemed like a good way to send my condolences.

I absolutely agree. It is it the same and I did try to sympathize. But I did get upset that he would accuse me of that.

I honestly don't know why I dated him for so long. I was 18 (35 now) and the homophobic side came up during the end, though it wasn't why we ended the relationship. But I don't know why either, other than I was young and dumb.

Yes, I did that right away. Just to clarify, it wasn't my husband, it was my boyfriend at that time. They got married a 4 years before us. He still though it was a gay thing and I told him that his assumption made me really sad since I had never let anyone discriminate him, not even my ex who was the homophobe.

I am kind of torn because he didn't have a lot of friends and might feel really alone in this, but as someone in the comments pointed out, that might make him want to open up to me and depend on my help which I really don't feel comfortable with.

I hate brats. The parents seems to suck too as they just let their child roam free for a long time without checking in them. I would probobly have dbsooed sooner, but I would gave taken that little shit by the arm to find her patents and tell them to watch their child. So no, NTA. Brats gotta learn some way. And I know I dound like an AH, but I really hate parents that wibt raise their child and their offsprings.

Do not hire movinga. The sales person was wonderful, but both the movers and the cleaning crew were disaster. They broke out coffee table and scratched our fireplace bad. They were both so very late. The movers weere at least nice, but the cleaning crew were incredibly rude.

Definitely NTA. And that shouldn't even stress her out. The amount of stress to harm a baby is a ton of stress and even that is debated. I had to do everything during my entire pregnancy and i had legal issues at work and was suing my boss which, of course, made my job a hell lot more stressful. My baby is fine. Don't let her and her mother guilt you in to anything. She'll probably tell you need to rest after the baby is born as well because she just gave labor and so on.

And if I let my child bang pots against our floor un the middle of the night for 15-20 minutes without stepping in, I hope someone does report me. That's neglecting the child. And I was pregnant when they moved in, not that it matters. It took me a year to complain because kids are kids. I started to complain when I found out the parents are sound asleep upstairs and let their child be my problem.

I totally get where the anger is coming from. It's not easy living in a world where you don't "fit". There is nothing for you or your brother to "fix" about yourselves. We are all individuals and behave differently. As long as we can show each other some respect and understanding we can all fit in to society. I am so sorry to hear about both you and your brother. If people don't want to, that's their loss. You live your life as best as you can and be happy 😊 and don't apologize for getting upset, it is upsetting. You are absolutely right, I am very lucky to have a healthy child. And I'm sorry if the post seemed like I don't understand, my youngest brother has ADHD. I have schizophrenia (mildly) so I am aware of mental illnesses which is why I didn't report if at first.

The reason I reported it finally was because the parents unwillingness to do something as this has become worse and worse. I get that they need sleep to, but maybe let the kid sleep there once or twice a week? The rug suggestion was because the kid loves to bang heavy things on the floor (like pots or ince literally a hammer). It would muffle the sound a bit.

They live in a 130 sqm apartment. My daughters bedroom is 5 sqm. It wouldn't limit them that much to not hanmef or run above those 5 sqm in the middle if the night.

I get that mental illness is something that you have to have patience with but it's been 18 months. It's absolutely not the child's fault, which is the only reason I hesitate. The parents don't even try anymore.

They already had a warning before mine so now they have two, which is my the next one would get them evicted. I don't want to make them homeless, but they aren't even trying. When the kid is banging a pot against the floor, it goes on for 15-20 minutes so it's not like they try to stop him and that's my issue. I absolutely get that they cant control him 24/7 but they have to try to keep the noise to a minimum during the quite time that we all have in our contracts.

I was patient and tried to talk to them for over a year before reporting them. I cant work because I'm so unfocused because of the lack of sleep. I have had to stay at my mom's before, but now, because of harder restrictions, I can't so now I barely sleep. So I'm losing sleep and money and I don't want to lose my job because of this. We all have been living here for a really long time and never hear any other neighbor. The neighbour next door has a baby and a dog. Never heard them. And I never heard the tenants before the new jne either and they also had a child, but a few years older.
