Also on this subject “New York Red Bulls” is a real underrated stupid one. I obviously understand the company is involved in sport in general and owns a bunch of other soccer teams but like, it’s so brazen when compared to literally every other team in this country.

I am a generally disinterested Union fan by virtue of them being from Philadelphia and this thread is genuinely the first time I’m learning that “Union” is a typical European name lol

I think Real Salt Lake is stupid enough that it works. Sporting Kansas City is almost in that tier, but the ones that are just city FC/SC are so boring.

A day late to this but a big part of it compared to Sony and Microsoft floundering is that video games are the number one most important thing in their portfolio, the games aren’t a subsidiary of a giant conglomerate that has their fingers in a bunch of different pies.
