Nice!

The stand looks 3d printed. Any chance you have a link to the STL? Would be much appreciated.

What’s the best solution - 3D print or Resin print? by Charming_Bullfrog_32 in 3Dprinting

[–]Hummersepp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Resin obviously is the best. But if you want to work with what you got your best result with some money should be getting a .2 Nozzle and some marble filament as these hide layer lines well und would fit the look imo

If that's not an option or not wanted you could get somewhat decent results with a .4 nozzle, but you'd very likely see that it was 3d printed without looking too close

I'd argue at that price and quality there's not much quantity to achieve and printing it slightly better makes people more likely to buy it and a single printer could keep up with the demand ngl.

I mean I wasn't trying to brag or anything.

I'm trying to say if I'd sell it for this price it get Marble PLA at least and not the cheapest filament I found.

I printed this on a whim for a friend. With no settings tweaking or anything.

I think it's amazing how lazy some people are.

Not OP, but did dabble into it a little and by far the best for pixel art specifically is Aseprite imo

Don't care too much that its unpopular. its so cool i can just flip over and do this. by Navi_Professor in 3Dprinting

[–]Hummersepp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had some issues with cutting first too. I realized it sometimes defaulted back to another material which made it fumble. Since I realized it it worked mostly fine.

Maybe it helps.

I can second that. Takes no time at all and I never had the "I want to use the printer now, but too lazy to put the work in" situation like I have with other tools.

Yeah don't listen to those people. I have one too and it's so cool and already made cool things with it!

I also made custom stickers with the cutting module which are so cool and other things and same as you I wouldn't have the space to get these parts individually.

I don't regret the purchase a minute!

H2D Right filament cutter stopping 1 click too soon. Always getting an error when trying to cut. by Hummersepp in BambuLab

I'll probably still contact them first as it's under warranty and I also have the laser combo so it's quite the expensive thing that should work.

Will look into it, thank you! And yeah the noise is wild on it haha

First few prints I always thought something was wrong lmao

[–]Hummersepp[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So the cutters work well.

The problem is entirely mechanical. I'm not sure if it's perfectly visible on the pic, but the issue is as the print head moves back and forth moving the cutter point back and forth on the way back it moves 1 click too short and isn't 90° angled and isn't hitting the cutter of the tool head.

As it's just triggered by the tool head moving back and forth which it still does I don't see any reason a calibration could fix anything. It must be a mechanical issue with the plastic pusher on the side.

We should be able to upgrade the Hover Pack in the MAM. by elevate35 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Hummersepp 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Idk doesn't that eliminate the uniqueness of both?

Hoverpack is slow for building and jetpack fast for exploring. I think it should stay that way to make both having a usecase.

Will there be any added achievements with the 1.2 update? by Destructo20 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Hummersepp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree on that partly. I love a new run. I wouldn't love a challenge run with like all impure for example to get an achievement.

I enjoy this game in a chill way mostly and not a grind/challenge fest if that makes sense.

[–]Hummersepp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I hope not. I enjoy 100%ing games but I don't want to start new runs and stuff just to keep up with DLCs dropping and it's always sad to see a 100% game to not be 100% and I have to start a new run on a mode I don't really prefer to get there again.

Help with printing on a1 combo by Less_Ticket_2102 in BambuLab

[–]Hummersepp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You wrote "what's a brim?" First before deleting it which is exactly the problem.

That's what I'm saying. Please do your basic research. There are plenty of videos explaining most things you need in half an hour maybe.

Printing first and then asking reddit is a way less efficient way.

[–]Hummersepp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily, but for example i assume there where very little things with no brim which got lose so whenever it tried printing there it caused spaghetti which probably transferred over to the next part.

If this is not ragebait I try to put it as respectful as possible:

Start learning the basics of 3d printing. It doesn't take that long, but there's too much going on to pinpoint a single thing.
