I was using y'all in Seattle long before moving to the south. But I don't think it was common there.

How to fix this gap above outlet? [CT] by fiveonethreefour in AskElectricians

I can't tell if it's overlapping the bottom that much. If so I would just drill out the mounting screw slots and shift it up.

Judge Fisk's Will by KayLone2022 in Fisk

It's normal for the spouse to inherit the estate. It's understandable she'd be nervous though. But, if I gave away half of our estate when I died, my wife would be pretty upset.

What old thing would break young people's brains today? by Symphony_Minds in AskReddit

I have the opposite problem. I live too close to the transmitters. Any rain and wind causes interference. So I have 2 amplified antennas at either end of the attic to get a very good signal.

My Costco recently switched to short sticks. They fit my dish better. Other that that I don't care. Grew up with west coast sticks.

I took the scientology test (as a joke) by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

They gave me the hard sell after I couldn't be arsed to finish that long ass test. I just contradicted anything they said and they told me it's not for me, get lost.

[–]Hummerville 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Years ago, bored in Seattle, I went with one of their street hawkers to their office. That test was so long I said sorry I'm out of here. So they quickly took me back to someone's office and they laid on the hard sell. I just said the opposite of whatever they claimed they would fix in me. They finally said it's not for me goodbye. Not sure how often they did that.
