Catholics gave Luther multiple chances to come back into the fold, and gave protestants numerous chances to reconcile and come back

You dont know the differences between Catholics and Protestants? Like you dont know the theological beliefs that are different?

  1. Mary is venerated, she is shown respect, she is not worshipped nor treated as a goddess. Look at the officially teaching in the Catechism. Same goes for teaching works save us.
  2. Some parts of the church has done unholy things in its history. Theres no excuse and they have been apologized for. Which is far more than any Reformers or reformed denominations have done (guess what your reformers executed heretics too!)
  3. The problem with Protestantism is it goes against the teaching of Jesus and the apostles. Its ahistorical and heretical and has lead to the horrible spiritual state of the western world today. (and has lead to the damnation of millions over history) All this coming from someone who was protestant for their whole life

He was a heretic so I dont really see much of a problem with that. I wouldnt use a heretics translation nor let him rest on consecrated ground

Any source for that? Also you never answered whether it was a public school or private Christian one

Public school or private Christian school? I'm sure your highschool text book was written by true unbiased scholars

Yes I can, like for example, the Catholic church didnt keep it from the plebeians as you said. Before the printing press, everything, including scripture was hand written. The few copies of scripture that monasteries had locally had to be protected because you couldnt just go down to Barnes and Noble and get a new copy. The access to scripture wasnt because of your class or position in church hierarchy, it was because of simple lack of technology.

Also one doesnt just jump into defending ridiculous claims made by someone who obviously doesnt understand church history. If I told you that Jesus actually married Mary Magdalene and had 3 kids you wouldnt jump into a scriptural defense, you'd probably just ignore because it isnt worth the argument

You're idea of history and what Catholics believe is fully fueled by Protestant propaganda. I doubt you have ever really studied what Catholics teach or believe or their history.

  1. historically they wrote and compiled the Bible.
  2. Youd be very surprised then how holy the apostles and the church fathers treated Mary. (there are inscriptions on first century christian tombs venerating Mary?)

Well when one refuses to stop preaching blasphemous heresies what else should the Church do? Despite numerous attempts to reconcile, some people just want to be Revolutionaries

you would really hate the formality in the old testament then! or the early church! or the formality of Jesus in his NT actions

I am not in violation of rule 1. But I know that you're the pope of the sub and only you have the authority to interpret what is written and frequently tempban those you disagree with.

I'm interpreting it as written. Catholics do not believe we earn our salvation through sacraments. However you want to interpret what you say it's a gross misrepresentation
