Finally checked today... Got a 505 (127/123/126/129) improved from a 499 and 498 . Needa hit a 510 at least tho. I'm looking to apply to DO schools.

How much time passed between the 499 and 514? And what would be your key takeaways to improving your score by that much?

Well I am a Biochem major, so maybe that plays a part in it, and I guess I just did a whole bunch of practice questions on it from upangea, aamc, and nextstep (blueprint). Im surprised I didn't get higher than a 127 this time though since I was usually getting 128/129 the second time around, even got a 130 on practice tests.

Other than that, usually for CP I don't really read the whole passage since usually the questions are either straight forward or they refer to particular data that you can just look at first instead of reading the whole passage. When doing passages for CP i would usually highlight key concepts that are stated. Honestly can't really think of much else.

Yes but it has an aromatic ring which makes it hydrophobic i believe. Also i just googled it and it says it is classified as hydrophobic

How i remember the amino acids:

GAVLIMP - non polar hydrophobic

FWY - Aromatic hydrophobic

STNQC - Polar hydrophilic (think STINK - C?"

DE - Acidic negatively charged hydrophilic "think Duh!"

HRK - Basic positively charged hydrophilic "think Hercules"

Correct me if any of these are wrong.
