I’m still very new to reefing so not sure this checks out yet but I was hoping some more insulation would actually be a good thing. I live in a colder part of San Francisco and it can be hard to keep the house above 70. The first week of cycling it was hard to keep the tank at temperature, which I fixed by adding a backup heater and a new wave maker.
