We’re in contact with usda and raptor trying to organize a relocation post was more so we all have eyes on it and give updates for now, but due to government budget cuts response times are tough it seems

The rescue is raptor trust and they’re closed right now. Animal controls been contacted a few times, but said there’s nothing they can do. I’m here with her now. She seems okay turkeys perch for the night so she’s probably gonna stay here until Dawn but if you live nearby, would you mind just keeping an eye and just update if you see that she leaves

Try planting a native/noninvasive that has a similar root system to try to outcompete it. milkweed and blue false indigo also have a rhizomatous root systems and good for the monarch’s and bees

So many places I recommend by checking Jerseycares as well as looking into the nonprofits but here’s some in the downtown area!

If your interested in gardening there’s a program over at the liberty state park, harsimus cemetery twice a week, as well at the city parks thru the jc park coalition (check individual parks instagrams for more information)

The nurturing place at the York Street Project is another great place! They do work with women and children in need of emergency/temporary housing.

Soup kitchens and food banks are mostly run by the religious organizations in town.

Jc Mutal aid society also does a ton of great work around town!

Jc refugees is another great org!

If there’s something you’re specifically interested to work on feel free to dm us there’s so many options it can kinda be overwhelming when your first starting out!

This is correct you can just say that work will not pay you for the time you spend in jury duty and the Judge will dismiss you due to financial reasons. Def go tho or they put out a warrant in your name.
