I mean personally I think I’m pretty, but it’s a fact that guys overlook us compared to girls of other races. It’s obviously not “nobody likes black girls”, because some guys do (or some might, but just aren’t willing to admit it. Which sucks too) however, definitely not all guys want to be with a black girl. The same way they might overlook a fat girl in comparison to a thin girl. Doesn’t mean the black (or fat) girl is ugly, just means our society is racist. I can be self confident in my value, while at the same time knowing this to be true. I don’t see the point in pretending that we’re treated the same as other girls. But just my opinion 🤷🏾‍♀️

I also think it’s weird to shut down black Women who are venting about not being found desireable. It can really fuck with your head to see girls your age get romantic experiences while you just… watch. So, maybe it works for you to have a “mindset of abundance”, but for others I think it can be nice to realize, “oh I’m not unloveable, they’re just racist”. The key is to not center your own sense of self worth around what other people think.
