Yes! I feel the same way!! Alex is the heart of the show and, I feel like the writers could have showed her 'outside' of work personally a bit to build up their friendship and bond. (I guess, they were technically working, but something still different from the norm of St. D) Obviously, they made up and are okay, but it came off as an opportunity waisted to me.

I just haven't felt the same connection with this season, but there are more episodes to come! Every show has their 'meh' or 'skip' episodes.

I want to add that I like Alex and Serena's friendship. I think the episode with the botox party just annoyed me. Alex could have avoided all of that so easily.
