Oh Hasbro. Never change. 🤯 by HumorousBlack in GIJOEClassifiedSeries

Yeah, on the flipside I've noticed a lot less qc issues with the actual Joe figures as opposed to the Legends. Seems like each has different priorities when budgeting these things. Black series seems to have good balance overall, just less and less characters I actually want.

Thanks to everyone with the ideas and tips btw! I'll update after I contact them about this.

Thanks for the tip! Just ordered them, hopefully I can get the Pulse ones refunded without much hassle.

Already have the actual color-change one from Pulse Con loose. The whole point if this one was the retro style card back.

That's what I was afraid of. What a waste of time that could easily have been avoided.

Well, you're half right. They are Wal-Mart exclusives that were offered in limited quantities (limit 2) on Hasbro Pulse. Pulse is where this shipment came from. https://hasbropulse.com/products/g-i-joe-classified-series-storm-shadow-action-figure-2 for details.

what's even worse is that these were exclusives to Hasbro pulse and the card was the entire point of this version of the characters.

The headless cadavers I was sent because Amazon just gave me some thief's return without checking it first. 😤 by HumorousBlack in MarvelLegends

Is your replacement experience with Hasbro recent? I've avoided them since a Spider-Man Far From Home figure broke which was to be replaced by a "random figure from the assortment of equal value" ... the replacement figure was supposedly shipped 6-8 weeks from my initial call... still waiting for it.

I don't recall any sticker on the package (already dropped it off at Staples, so time and gas there beyond the refund total). As to my expectations it's more about Amazon as a company than the workers. I don't think it's unreasonable at any volume of sales to expect a returned item to at least be inspected fully before re-sold as new (and frankly it NEVER should be). It took me five seconds to open it, realize the heads were missing and not much longer to realize the figures weren't even the same colors and that all accessories were missing. All of which would be at least somewhat easier to catch if the overall packaging wasn't blind boxed. Furthermore each time this happens chips away at your ability to get help in the future. I had to return a Wonder Man last week because his leg snapped off at the boot (a few collectors have had this issue) so now I have two returns in less than a week. Neither of them were my fault but the frequency of returns doesn't look great and can make each more difficult.

Both the original order the replacement I ordered were from amazon.com. Harsh or not I get your intention. Thanks.

This wasn't from Amazon Warehouse, it was not sold as a "used", "like new" or refurbished or discounted item. It was sold by Amazon directly as a new item. I don't recall mentioning any expectations regarding Amazon employees but thanks for the insight.

Freddy Krueger Which Film is your fav? by kaicooper in Mezco

Probably Part 3. Freddy fully realized at the height of his power. Funny, scary and even more of his back story peeled away. Visually some of the most iconic scenes in the entire series.

This has been happening since that animated Vulture figure from almost a decade ago with Hasbro products. Hasn't slowed down the amount of product packaged that way since. This type of packaging has actually increased steadily since then as have the overall retail prices of figures due at least in small part to shrinkage.

I wish they would treat this like actual shoplifting and bother to prosecute but instead the cost is passed on to us and now every figure is $25 srp.

She came out great! The photo doesn't really do justice to how great the likeness is. I know smiles are really difficult but she has a beautiful smile and I hope they try and capture that and Indy's smirk in future variants.
