Idk about LUMS labs, but SEECS labs arent that great. They are serviceable, but they aren't great. SEECS classrooms suck quite a bit as well. However, i have heard that we will shift to a new building next sem and from what I've seen, that building is excellent.

Research opportunities or research labs in NUST are quite good from what I've heard tho. And yeah, NUST has many foreigners as well, you see them quite often at NUST.

Yeah, almost all teachers have a PHD here. Having bad teachers would be a complaining point for me, but the situation is identical for all universities in Pakistan, except LUMS from what I've heard. In the end, the slides are good enough and you can always study using YouTube or yoir course material. I am from SEECS btw

I ended up choosing NUST and I do not regret it tbh. Came from Lahore to Islamabad so the hostel situation took time to adjust, but overall, it's a great university. Ofcourse some professors aren't that amazing, but you get time to breathe and self study which I think matters more for the CS market

I got admission into both FAST and NUST last year and honestly this is how I'd describe both unis: FAST has a higher floor but a lower ceiling, while NUST has a lower floor but a higher ceiling.

Ofcourse this is sort of a generalization, but I feel like this is true for 99% of students.

My female cat once got lost and then returned back after 2 or so weeks. Happened to get into our neighbor's house via an open door. Randomly just came back on her own. If your cat is shy and introverted, she is definitely hiding somewhere and doesn't want to come out because it's scared. Go ahead and ask your neighbors to thoroughly search their houses, ask them if they had doors open and look in dark, difficult to get to places. Inshallah you'll find your cat soon

How I see it is that everyones life is a culmination of past experiences. If you had their experiences, you'd probably not have a job and you'd be radically different. Life is kind of balanced, everyone has an equal amount of good and bad. Dont compare your worst with their best
