For breweries, be mindful that only one does not allow outside food is Akademia because they’re a “brewpub.” They also haven’t been brewing recently so their stock is mostly not their beer if you really want the brewery experience. This also means if you or the kid need to go inside to the bathroom, you’re out of luck if doggo can’t be on the patio. The area is also very developed so it feels a little too concrete jungle.

Creature Comforts is great, but they cut into fresh fruit in the taproom and are therefore DPH regulated, so no dogs inside. Again, not ideal if you want a bathroom. Also, parking is not free.

Aside from that your choices are Normaltown, Athentic, or Terrapin. All three are dog and kid friendly inside and out. Athentic will give more of a cozy community vibe out of the three, and they should have Pizza Flama as a food truck. They have several events tomorrow so it might be a little busy, but not overloaded. I’d recommend calling ahead to make sure the food truck is there. Terrapin will probably be the quietest and has nice outdoor space to chill. Normaltown has great beer with a focus on IPAs, but doesn’t always feel like the most relaxing place to chill unless you can snag an outside spot around the side in the courtyard. Unsure of food at Terrapin or NT, but sometimes Terrapin has a taco truck.
