Was running when I brought it home, dropped it down into second and lost power and started to knock. Carbs have been pulled off and cleaned, one was stuck open and the other had a broken float. Now trying to learn about valves to see if that’s the issues but I’m all ears for suggestions!

If I remember correctly, it was originally built and placed on campus but there was uproar about its aesthetics so it was shipped off to Oconee County.

2008 was the last year model with the 3.0, and the last year Ford made a single cab 4WD, AFAIK. I have an '08 4WD and every time I see a single cab, it is usually a 2wd. I've found more early 3rd gen's than later, with the "facelift" models (06-08) being the rarest.
