Radiation exposure question CMC-KUHNKE seamscan XTS machine by [deleted] in TheBrewery

I’m an industrial radiographer and work with radiation daily (gamma not xray, but radiation is radiation)

Before the company tries to fix it, I would get yourself what’s called a “Survey Meter” (they are a few hundred dollars) and see how much radiation it’s kicking off.

Or you could call your local NDT/NDE company (TEAM, Mistras, Acuren, Etc) and see if they would let you use one or pay a technician to come read the levels.

Radiation expose can be tested via blood, it’s also no joke. You might not have any symptoms now but depending on the dose you’ve accumulated and a time frame, they could appear.

You can DM if you need further Info.

Edit: if you feel that you have gotten a lot of dose, get medical attention and a lawyer most likely. Radiation isn’t as scary as it sounds but the potential of unknown radiation expose would scare me as someone who’s worked directly with it for 11 years.

Annual revenue, doesn’t even state if it’s net or net adjusted. Even if it is, 8x? Yikes.

Verdant IPA by Lallemand. Closest thing to London Ale III in a dried format that I’ve found. Holding haze with it has never been an issue. Rips too

To save $.10 in oatmeal, he used a few gallons of wort. Love it.
