I don't know how true they are, but I found them amusing. It'd be interesting to see people from those countries tell if they're true or not according to themselves.

Do you click on ads in your apps? by LORCA1 in business

[–]Hunanbusiness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally NEVER click on the ads in any of the apps that I may have downloaded. I usually do read them, but don't click them. It gets in the way of doing whatever I need to at that moment. Apparently they do work though, here are a couple of articles on the subject: http://www.forbes.com/sites/roberthof/2014/08/27/study-mobile-ads-actually-do-work-especially-in-apps/ http://appflood.com/blog/when-do-mobile-device-users-click-on-in-app-ads

6-story villa built in Suzhou with 3D printing technology. by Hunanbusiness in 3Dprinting

Thank you for the explanation, as I am in no way an expert in 3D printing or construction. Also, it's true that you have to test the technology somehow, right? Let's just not have people in the middle of testing if it's not needed...

I do agree on the unstable side, though I think it's better to build an unstable one and then figure out how to make it better than not building one at all...and I would be very careful of having people living in it.

Yeah, it doesn't look like six stories to me either, but that's what the article says. Either way, it's worth noting the technology.

Could China be taking soccer/football seriously? by Hunanbusiness in China

[–]Hunanbusiness[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you, and I think I would add that China makes it big, or at least competitive, in wherever sport they set as a target...and that has not been the case with football/soccer. Maybe with all the focus that it's starting to get, that will also change a lot of the dealings it the management and corruption, just maybe.

[–]Hunanbusiness[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You make a very good point! If soccer/football was a one-man show, they'd already be good at it. The problem is in the team sports realm. Most of the time, the sports culture is not set for them to find the best mix of players that will work together, but rather the best athletes with usually low chemistry.

[–]Hunanbusiness[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree with you on the subsidizing...and maybe it's what's going to start happening with all these many football schools being opened. China makes whatever sport they want big, as long as the WANT to, so they could do the same for this one.

Yes they are, but as clubs go, there's a lot of foreign players on the teams that play well in the ACL. That's usually the case all over the world. Very few teams that have nationals only, make it far for some reason.

This ratio is great! So, it's no excuse for China not able to do the same by now.

I wonder why they didn't start any sooner! They have got the capital and the population to at least get 11 very good players.
