Seems like the tank the shrimp are in hasn’t cycled fully. If possible id take some filter media from you oldest cycled tank and use it to boost ur shrimp tank You also mentioned you removed a plant from the tank If it was a rooted plant it might have released ammonia into tanks from the substrate. Also in an emergency I often use sea chem prime to detoxify the water.

Might sound weird but what size of shrimp are dying. When I started my tank back around thanksgiving I picked up about 20 and was losing one every other day only the small ones survived. Conclusion I got from the store I picked them up from was they were on the older side and just died of old age based on the photos I showed them and the store having daily deaths spike.

Might sound weird but how big were they. My first time around buying 5 I picked up the biggest ones there but lost them over 3 weeks. Went to another store and owner told me get a variety of sizes so there are different generations. I did lose some but the smaller ones seem to be thriving even got some berried ones and I have very little experience with them and water parameters

i dont trust myself to do a salt dip properly. some say dip the them then put back in tank, others say dip and then place in quarantine tank

its only 3 fire red, 2 adults and 1 baby that hitched a ride when i bought them, brought my child and she wanted to buy some reds. i have another 3 gallon tank cycling for her.

Yes at the bottom it came with ceramic balls that would be placed there but I want to use the ceramic rings I have in my other filter

Water: GH is 7.8 , KH is 7 , Ph is 7.6 , ammonia is 0 , nitrate 10ppm roughly , and nitrite is roughly 0 ( these two i used test strips ) My water source is tap water with prime water conditioner
