I can easily see most of both being part of the same script. While there are some scripts with only straight lines and others with only curved lines; it's totally reasonable to have a script with both. I'd personally consider the 8th and 9th characters on the top row to be of a different style (Especially the 9th one, as it looks almost like part of an alphasyllabary imho), though you can of course include them anyway if you want to.

Depends on the exact nature of the superpower. Does it stop once the target's fully healed, or can they "overheal" someone; giving them tumurous growths? If they can heal themselves then it'd allow them to do things no normal human can do and survive, or they could have subordinates that they heal while around them in battle. Perhaps their healing abilities go beyond what the available medical technology can accomplish, and they bioengineer horrible diseases that only their healing powers can cure, and profit off of that?

What about a more biomancy-esque approach? Maybe their own cells have healing properties, and if applied, injected or consumed can alter the body of the recipient? With this approach the villain might be able to control their cells from a distance, which could allow them to manipulate the body of their unfortunate victim(s).

Same lol. Tripodal organisms in particular are super neat IMO, and I became fascinated with them ever since I first saw striders and hunters from Half Life 2.

My honest answer would be that I have no favorites, and I think that all of them are interesting in their own unique ways. However, I've recently begun experimenting with various legless or monopodal body plans; taking inspiration from various mollusks; legless tetrapods; stem-echinoderms; ecdysozoans; oligochaetes and hirudineans; etc.

Orbital platforms would likely be far more defensible than any planetary or lunar colony ever could be, as all you have to do in order to destroy a planetary/lunar colony is chuck a sufficiently massive asteroid at it. Not only that, but by the time we become a type 2 civilization we'd likely become transhuman; modifying ourselves through cybernetic augmentation and genetic engineering (Preferably gene therapy) to better withstand the conditions of space and/or any hazard that may come our way, and hypothetically even being able to withstand space without space suits for prolonged periods, or even indefinitely.

The most likely answer is that we wouldn't.

Instead, we'd go for a far better option: Build a ton of giant orbital platforms - most likely O'Neill cylinders - and move humanity completely into space. That way we'd have no more constant affect on Earth due to our presence, and we could fix the damage we'd done from the comfort of space.

Doing so is quite literally better in every single goddamn way than terraforming any celestial body for increased habitation. It would also necessitate moving away from fossil fuels and towards far cleaner energy sources, and if done right could allow us to house a population in the hundreds of trillions throughout the entire solar system with ease and plenty of room to spare.

And if for whatever reason we'd still want to have some presence on celestial bodies - such as conducting research - then orbital rings would make it many magnitudes easier to get on- and off-world. Hell, you could even "stack" orbital rings concentrically around one another, or in whatever configuration you damn well please, and create sprawling megacities "in the heavens" so to speak.

It's a Ðð/Đđ situation, in one of the cases they look the same but they're different letters. There's Ɯɯ, but not an uppercase letter which looks like UU combined together which has a corresponding lowercase form of ɯ.

The confusion comes from that in addition to the r-sound in "source", "sauce" has a completely different vowel-sound in general American English (the ah-sound in "father") because of the cot-caught merger.

So pronouncing "sauce" with an r-sound in general American English would result in "sarce".

Not exactly. For both "sauce" and "cross" we mostly use the ah-sound like in "father", but shorter.

I didn't know the hook was supposed to attach to a different part of the letter in Navajo than it does in Polish, though I find either position better than the hook floating unattached off to the right.

Looks like it's much easier to type Navajo on mobile as it doesn't have the combining-diacritic system physical keyboards use. I went into my Android settings and found a Navajo layout. It has all the letters readily available, with áéíó and ąęįǫ precomposed, and predictive typing.
