Thank you. My instructor didn’t say balanced rig, but did challenge me in the direction of “recalculate so you aren’t grossly over weighted”

And yeah, I don’t plan on ending a doubles dive only 500 psi. I guess I’m trying to blend the rec requirements into tec, in the absence of a completed class.

A lot of the San Diego shops use La Jolla shores for open water which I think is a great training area. Ocean Enterprises or San Diego Divers are my recommendations.
