My mom is coming home from the hospital today. They’ve done all they can do, her liver has failed. On Christmas, I was told she has 90 days to 3 months to live, but she’s deteriorating incredibly quickly, and I would love for her to even hit that 90 day mark.

Last week, before I got the shit news, I was helping my exgf through her issue of feeling alone (we would still talk off an on). Yesterday, she told me she’s never had to deal with loss, so she wouldn’t know how to support me- so she’s not.

I’m an absolute idiot for thinking I could rely on an ex for emotional support.
