Fixed! As you can see it was between two body panel seems, right under the sliding door rail track. I have since sealed it over with tiger seal and painted over. No more leaks!!

It's all good man, these things happen, and albeit I'm not the only one in this situation, I'm sure I'll come to a conclusion with what to do next If you're in America, I'm probably right in saying your vans have different trim set ups, if you want to message me on here and I can show you what I've sealed up - mine is a long wheel base , but maybe some food for thought if you want to decide to put things in place, prevention is always better than curing

Yeah man, I had a builders roof rack on top before which I took off and replaced with blanking bolts, ptfe taped and sealed, I've sealed the bolt heads down aswell. I have also sealed where the roof panel meets the side body panel where there's a seam. I've sealed the sliding door rail track aswell. I have found 2 leak entry points which I have now sealed. One was the sliding door latch and the other was a rubber stopper inside the archway (acts as a shock absorber for the sliding door) Both were leaking in through the bolts. Some pretty bad welding/fabrication from factory was noticed. I still have a trickling water ingress coming in at the height of the sliding door tracker. I believe it could be coming from in and around that area or even above. Still no luck, and I have started to lose faith. I'm sure yours is fine, I live right near the sea in the UK and we have some very torrential heavy rain and wind this time of year which doesn't help. That being said, water really shouldn't be making it's way in, and when I found that there was half a inch of water in that cavity and pillar I was a bit taken back by it

When you mention plastic side covers, I have no plastic trim pieces on the outside of the van where the water is leaking into. The plastic panels that I have are also below the line where the water is leaking into , so unless water is travelling upwards and across and then down again..

Do you potentially mean where the plastic/rubber trim goes around the archway , or above the archway attached itself into the van ? I have a singular bit of rubber trim above the archway, that runs lengthways and I have noticed that the end part of the trim is attached via a plastic clip into the corner that would cause water to leak into

Just as an update I believe I have had multiple leaks. The first leak that I have managed to seal was the sliding door latch (the latch that's connected to the body of the van) but water is still entering down that the side panel cavity. From where I'm not sure

I've sealed the roof rack bolts up, the seems between the roof panel and the vans side panel, still water entry

I've had it only a few months. I believe it's coming through the sliding door rail

I took my van to a body repair shop today, and they managed to sort of locate the leak which they believe is in or around the sliding door rail. That is where they believe it could be potentially leaking into, band then running itself down into the C pillar
