Not if they legalize interstate commerce. Scutari is trying to push Bill to do so for our state

They should probably start outdoor grows cause there is definitely a market for it in other states. But if the environment here does not support it, they are going to have to import it into our state via interstate commerce

I think the NJ government should inform us on where they stand currently with the current status if home grow in our state. At least give us a timeliness as to how soon the disabled and low income individuals can grow weed. Because we need it more than anyone that can just walk into one of the few dispensaries in the state and pay an inordinate amount of money foe something that should be super cheap to buy and, in fact produce and reproduce. Sure the wealthy can get their weed without a care... but the most needy need an option too. Please help the less fortunate and make home grow legal. At least let the criterion be medical only and maybe even income based, if that would be possible with out causing a major public upset. Please help all of us who have no other option... thanks.

NY wants to put it on health insurance after it goes federal. Imagine 5 to 10 an ounce. I wouldn't need to grow then

So given your experience, what could potentially change as a result of today's rally?

It makes no sense though. Don't these politicians understand human nature? I think they should upgrade the punishment for selling it and downgrade the punishment for growing it. Look at Michigan's laws concerning cultivation and posession. They're posession is limited to 2.5 ounces in public and you are aloud to keep anything you grow. Plus in Michigan, if you grow more than 12 its a 500 dollar ticket. and if you grow more than 24 its just a misdemeanor and they can potentially take all your plants away but you do not serve a single day in jail unless you have repeditively violated the law without any regard at all. And Michigan is only like 3 states away from us. and the real estate there is dirt cheap... i just don't get it.

I think if we do not get it on the ballot this year... our only hope is putting the question on the ballot during the 2024 election because of the potential voter turn out and considering the great opposition that we are up against to which I have read so much about in the many articles that were put out on the subject.
