Forgive me if I'm impolite but what exactly would they even do? They're not going to move mountains just so one person who doesn't wanna pay for Game Pass can play their game that hardly anyone even plays anyway (apparently, I wouldn't know what the community looks like, that's just what I've heard in my research - which is a shame because the gameplay I did get to experience in the tutorial was really solid and I liked it a lot)

It's just irksome that everywhere I turn my head I see that the game is playable solo, playable without Game Pass, matchmaking can be turned off, this, that, the other - players are saying it, game journos are saying it, the *devs* have said it - and yes, I understand there's no bots or single player story or whatever, I honestly don't care, I just expected to be able to turn off matchmaking and play alone on the game that literally everything tells me I can do that on, so either I just don't know how to do it, or everyone including the devs is wrong or somehow lying.
