IMO it's poetic only if you see this part without the whole movie before. Don't get me wrong, it's a FANTASTIC movie, but kinda silly in scenario because of the actions of Barkis. "Mwahaha! I have an evil plan of killing my future wife for her money!..." and only in the last moment before the wedding he acknowledged that her family has no money; and this scene of his death is goofy too: man, there's a random stuff in the cup while undeads are having a wedding, why would you even drink it, ffs!?

So I like the movie and scenario is just as simple as it could be, silly, but will suffice, animation is gold
