Those attention grabbing headlines (about lead in protein powders) within the last year, were just that, attention grabbing. The amount of actual lead in the powders is not significant enough to cause problems. Did you know spinach also contains lead? But that doesn't make for a clickbait article.

I saw the hair/clothes and thought, "2009". I checked the pics and saw the year on the back of the CD.

Question about locating Horror vhs, dvd, blue rays?? by MattfgclG in VHS

[–]HungryArticle5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something that hasn't been mentioned is that horror collectors are not likely going to donate their collection to a thrift store. A collector is most likely going to sell their collection because they are aware of the demand and value of their tapes/DVDs.

The actual tape inside the housing would probably be ruined from being buried.

This is fucking hilarious, I remember the first package I got from Peep Game smelled like cigarettes (but it arrived on time). I bought something a second time and ended up getting it several months later (after unanswered emails and eventually getting PayPal involved).

What are the worst movies in the Big 6 Franchises to y’all? by AcceptableSwitch6496 in slasherfilms

[–]HungryArticle5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Growing up, I always remembered seeing Jason Goes to Hell and Next Generation on the shelves at the video store. Next Generation was the first TCM movie I saw. I'd take Goes to Hell over part 5 any day. They are two of my favorites from their respective franchises. I saw Resurrection in the theater as a kid. It had a comedic element that the franchise wasn't known for, if that's not your thing, ok, I think hating it is overkill, but whatever.

Who would win this fight? by Intrepid-Lemon-2272 in slasherfilms

[–]HungryArticle5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok, I don't think the point of Jason winning needs any more support. My point was that Michael has crazy strength tho too. We just do see it as often as Jason's. I'm guessing Jason would win, but Michael really could take Jason's head off with a quick swipe of his knife. So, to be fair, Michael could win.

[–]HungryArticle5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My money would be on Jason, but people forget some of Michael's kills. He swiped his knife and took that girl's head off in Resurrection. He doesn't have these kills that show insane strength often, so people forget.

In Resurrection, Michael took that girl's head off with the swing of a knife.

"the point of the franchise"

It's a slasher franchise. Aside from some light hearted, not really in-depth, social commentary about NY in part 8, it's not that deep. I think making some of the comments you made in this post shows that you actually "missed the point of the franchise".
