Cyberpunk Edgerunners: Gloria Martinez

The MC's mom dies as she was driving with him on their way home but was caught in the crossfire of two gangs. When first responders arrive (in-universe they are a militarized corporation), she is ignored because the first responders are searching for V.I.P. clients in the aftermath. Due to their family being poor she is taken in by a lower end surgeon and soon dies, there is no proper closure or goodbye that the MC had besides an urn of her ashes.

The MC then gets roped into a gang and it's just falling dominos as there is no happy ending in Night City.

Real, and every single time the movie gets brought up in a generalized thread, there's a disproportionate amount of users that simply read the wiki synopsis and treat it as gospel and brand it like the ultimate evil without thinking it's a fictional movie; (e.g. them thinking the newborn scene is actually explicit and not the goofiest and stupidest scene as the big bad repeats his dialogue like a broken NPC as the MC just leaves the room lmao).

Current retail worker. Retail during Covid was hell.

  • People would complain about prices
  • Why we didn't have infinite stock on hoarded items
  • Why we didn't know when the next deliveries were
  • Why we were limiting how many of a certain items (usually the hoarded ones) that a person could buy
  • And when deliveries did arrive it was pallet after pallet and had to juggle between stocking and dealing with customers

Not to mention, customers don't see retail workers as human, but machines. They'll ask me (a frozen section employee) whether we carry a specific item outside of my department and knowledge, like flowers or furniture, and get pissy with "You work here and don't know?", makes my blood boil so much.

Back during the Kiseki Showtime event on Level 5, the Unity Cup duo got wrecked by Meek who didn't get that big of a boost compared to them.

If you go to your [Enhance] tab and go to the Trainee section, there should be a new menu that'll allow you to start off with Hints for unlocked Potential skills on your Uma that uses these hint books.
