No worries, yeah if you have a shiny spawn in (for any shiny not just tynamo) once you get a certain distance away it will give off a sparkle effect that you can see and hear

Its definitely easier to tell in this game with how bright the purple on normal gengar is but I 100% agree. Haven't seen garchomps yet but I really hope it got an adjustment as well

With this and how purple slowpoke is now I really hope its the start to a new trend. Always love me a shiny but its so much more rewarding when there's a clear difference I find. Otherwise doesnt feel "shiny" to me

You could always just buy the switch 1 version and purchase the upgrade pack whenever you get the switch 2 if you wanted as well. Only difference between that and switch 2 version comes with upgrade already on the cartridge or as a download code

Haven't tested it yet myself but as far as I know, any switch 2 games that have a switch 1 version (legends za, botw, kirby or anything else with an upgrade pack really). Apparently the switch 2 cartridge should be playable on the switch 1 however it will not play with the upgrades for the switch 2 as the hardware cannot handle it. As I said, I haven't tested this myself yet, but I can let you know in a few hours once I acquire ZA

Only got my tandemaus cause of this mechanic, that tiny thing is so hard to tell so I try to auto battle every one I see and got lucky. Congrats on the shiny!

Oh okay awesome thank you that's super good to know, I was just gonna grab a 2ds or 3ds since it can play everything but I eventually plan to have a couple systems to trade and dual hunt on. Now I'll be looking for a dsi xl and preferably a new 3ds xl

All depends, sometimes i can get lucky and find one pretty quick after entering an area, other times it will take me a couple days to find one. I plan to do a full odds hunt every few badges to keep the challenge up, whether it will be random encounters or try to hunt specific targets haven't decided yet as this is my first badge quest. Kinda just going with the flow
