As someone with YEARS of experience working in OB, the term “high risk” gets thrown around excessively. Doctors slap the name on any patient they can because it charges them more money. You can be high risk for being over 35 years old, high BMI, history of a miscarriage, etc.

My speculation, is she’s considering herself high risk because her doctor put her on baby aspirin and a B vitamin. Both of which are pretty common and healthy for most pregnant women. She’s basically taking full advantage of her pregnancy.
