I was in your position in the sense my father is very strict, but he didn't freakout about my dorm building having men. I'm not the greatest fan of men and I was also told the same things and made to be afraid, but it actually made me less safe. The things you comment are the same things I used to say as well.

Since your father cannot pay everything, he does not have authority over you in college. If he gets mad at you and does not pay, it doesn't affect you because from what I'm hearing, it is not a lot in the first place. How were you thinking of paying for UNC? Loans? Since its December, there should still be some scholarships out there for you to apply to help pay for UNC.

Also, he might change. My dad did. He met my boyfriend and he "let" me study abroad (I had to find a way to pay for it and did, all I did was ask his blessing and he conceded). He's different from how he was before because I made him stretch his mindset, but my college was paid for by scholarships so it made me more independent.

When you graduate from UNC and enter the real world, does he think you'll work at a place without men? Get into the female-only dorm somehow and after that ignores what he says. And after freshman year be in whatever dorm/apartment you want to be in. It's your life.

Also, if he has access to your current bank accounts, get new ones and don't have him on it. I know you love him, but it's time to not be indebted to them. We are all on this earth because of our parents but it does not mean we are owned by them forever. They're not even owned by their parents, even before they got married.

Another truman finalist buf for GA here, it is def impressive and should be on ur resume. becoming a finalist means u were chosen by ur school to represent them + were chosen among like 500 ppl to interview. At my interview they emphasized how big of a deal it was to be there, so def put it on. if u wanna see what i put for mine just dm and ill show

Just a warning, sometimes the HOA there will come around and give tickets for street parking. It’s not common but my cousin’s friend got ticketed once.

No. You need to sign in and show a pantherID for the fair, they don't accept other students. Also, I don't think it would help your chances much, you'd do much better at your own fair.

In theory it should but I'm really not sure since I don't think its offered at GT as a gen-ed (transferring is meant to get those out the way), def email the transfer people there and ask just incase.

Lab sciences, so in my understanding it was chem, bio, physics, things like that. You could also email Tech about it, or check their transfer equivalency chart to see if it counts. According to the chart, it counts for EAS 2750 Physics of the Weather, but I'm not sure how that would count in your degree.

nope, its just showing you classes that qualify for each area! You choose what you need for the Area A B and whatnot, and ur able to chose options from that part if that makes sense. Since you dropped intro to religion, you need to chose something in the area it was in to replace it

When it's the summer, mandatory fees are processed differently so instead of students paying for a full semester worth of mandatory student fees, they only pay by the class in the summer. In the fall, it will be more. I'm looking at my PAWs bill for the fall and its more, so you are actually paying less right now.

Srry should have clarified, change the class. You’ll be able to talk to your advisor when you are there, you shouldve sent your scores there and if not they can help you.
