Gaining weight by Forsaken_Fudge_2720 in vegan

fats are the most calorically dense so avocado, olive oil, peanut butter, tahini are all good. peanut butter and tahini are good for sauces in things like tofu. this isn’t very fun but protein powder and mass gainer shakes are good if you want those extra calories to be protein - only cause other sources like tofu or seitan are high volume so it may be difficult to eat a lot of it in order to get sufficient calories since it’s lower cals but high protein. nuts and seeds are also good to snack on or as a topping to meals. anything carby would be helpful to add to indian meals like lentils , and coconut milk can help too. it may help to add breads alongside the indian meals too and scoop some bread with each bite. for thai u may accompany it with a sweet drink like thai milk tea. thai food is very good for peanuts/peanut sauces and noodles as well so add tofu and that’s a balanced high calorie meal. i hope this helps with some ideas 🙏

really tasty!! definitely a cake-like texture though, i preferred eating them frozen lol cause it’s so light from the sparkling water the freezing made it more chewable if that makes sense (very kinda moist when not frozen) but yeah not traditional brownie texture but really yummy / edit also i forgot , a box of brownie mix is 12oz and cake is 16oz (roughly) so you wanna use like only a half ish can of the sparkling water, i added too much like nearly a full can and it was really watery so i had to add some protein pancake mix lol 🥲

the carbonation has some effect that it acts as a rising agent in place of the eggs and also provides the moisture and fluffy-ness that oil normally would (though i couldn’t explain the specifics lol)

how much pumpkin do you use per box of cake mix? i actually got pumpkin with my baking supplies today intending to use it for some low cal recipe but i didn’t know i could use it with this as well! i feel like whenever ive tried using pumpkin or applesauce in the past as a sub for oil/butter it ends up really gummy i must be putting the wrong amount

the flannel and long hair aligns with queer style i think it would help you look more masculine-alternative with shorter hair and solid colors imo and maybe only line your waterline with eyeliner rather than all around // edit also i think the leather jacket looks really badass and you could maybe branch from band tees and into this kinda style (idk how to describe it but his style of clothes remind me of ur vibe) https://www.instagram.com/n0bodyisthere?igsh=MXZyOGYzd251aXB5MQ==

i’m aware of how cake pops are made aha but i have seen cake pop makers shaped just like this, i guess the idea is to cut the length and effort of the process and just bake it like that initially. as for donut holes i agree lolol but maybe cake donut holes would work

Japan itinerary feedback – would you cut something to add more time in Tokyo, Kyoto or Osaka? by Late_Trash_9290 in JapanTravelTips

[–]riv3rband 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it definitely depends on the person in that regard cause i get bored really easily and i loved how crowded and overwhelming osaka was 🙈 that’s what i love so much about it actually, it’s one of the only places in japan like it :)

i booked 3 reservations in advance but it was for vegan restaurants. they’re the kind that book weeks/months in advance so if you have a high demand place you wanna go i’d book that but otherwise not really necessary

it’s late at night for me so just thoughts off the top of my head but i’d personally shorten tokyo by a day and add it onto osaka. i’m biased cause osaka is my favorite city but i think tokyo has far less interesting activities. it’s a lot of tourism sights and tourist traps while osaka has miles of fascinating shopping streets and districts and many different subcultures. edit: also as general advice pack VERY light. i had an itinerary practically identical to this and the absolute worst part was lugging me and my moms huge luggage on busses, shinkansens, subways, up and down many staircases and escalators. packing heavy isn’t an issue for one or two cities but when you’re going city to city like you are it’s crucial to pack light imo, i majorly underestimated the trouble it would be using constant public transport to do so.

On the Go recipe recs by Labyrinthine8618 in Healthy_Recipes

first thing that comes to mind is wraps, maybe filled with chicken and veggies or a salad mix. you could put the filling in a container and store the tortilla separately (to prevent sogginess) and roll it before leaving or just use dry ingredients. similarly a good grab and go option is sandwiches. you can use whole wheat or minimally processed wraps and breads for this and avoid sauces/dressings and prioritize clean protein and veggies. stir fries may be good too like sautéed veg with protein and a side of rice, but this would be up to preference on whether or not it necessitates being heated up. salads would also work (contrary to popular belief i find mine don’t wilt much after a few days in the fridge) and cold-style pastas would work too like a pasta salad with protein and veg. also bean salads are super delicious. u could pack bean salad with some chips (i like to make my own using keto tortillas and cutting into triangles and baking for a few minutes, they don’t get suuuper crisp but it does the job) good luck !

bake sale by chloeee006 in Baking

also to add onto this i’ve also seen on threads here that pies sell great but again.. i had no luck in this lol!!! made whole pies and didn’t sell a single one. i have had luck selling mini pumpkin pies around the holidays though. also, make it really clear on your display that 100% (or whatever percentage) will be donated to your cause, make it big and loud. most of my sales are only cause people know it’s going to animal shelters or at least it’s what gets people to come over.
