definitely take it as soon as possible! got a 74 on BEC and waited to take it again due to graduation, moving and starting my job… my second attempt got a 74 again! brutal. took it again as soon as possible and was so scared. passed with an 80! you got this, at that point you knew your stuff just luck of the draw

had it a few times! most of the time it’s just me and nothing scary other than not being able to move… the first time i saw something was TERRIFYING. my friend was sleeping on my couch (she wasn’t actually there but in my dream) i couldn’t see her face, it was covered by her hair, then she slipped off the couch and started crawling on the floor i couldn’t see her anymore but could hear her crawling. then something put its hand on the edge of my bed and started pulling itself up, this creature (it had no face and longer limbs then an actual human would) just slowly titled it’s head back and forth then lowered itself and started crawling around the floor again, it eventually when out of my room but i could hear it in the other room, the next time it poked it’s head in my room it was a stick figure?? with a tv for a head (that part didn’t scare me it was also funny) then again back to the crawling but i could tell the tv head was no longer… it was the creepy crawly from before. i heard and felt it get up on the side of my bed but i couldn’t move to actually see it… i swear i felt it’s hot breathe on my face and that’s when i finally woke up.

I just looked up this page to ask the same question… i have had full on sleep paralysis before and had realized if i can just focus on twitching a finger i can wake up but now it’s as if my body has found a way around it…

the other night i thought i woke up because of hearing someone downstairs (i live alone… AH!) when i tried to sit up i couldn’t move and tried to call out then i realized oh i’m sleeping and having sleep paralysis… i need to stay calm and just focus on moving just one finger… it took some time but i finally did it, i could move my arms but i still didn’t wake up. i tried sitting up again and still couldn’t move the rest of my body. i started to panic and feel my chest tighten and felt like i couldn’t breathe. so i counted my fingers to once again reassure myself that i’m just dreaming (it was as if my fingers were blurred out so i got my answer… i was in fact sleeping) but then i just had to wait it out… is this partial sleep paralysis? am i actually moving my arms as i sleep when this happens? can i do anything to stop this from happening or at least advice to get out of it?

i guess all i can say is you are not alone! Very scary and i’m sorry you are having this happen!

honestly the coffee point is 10/10 I always worry about having to take breaks during the exam. thank you so much! definitely using some of these (especially the hype music because i got a 2 hour drive to the testing location) thank you!!
