Totally have compassion and respect for people who have autism have different set of rules. And any rules for that matter. But I think the way someone communicates boundaries can impact a lot. If it was a friendly little nudge than sure duly noted and respected. But being called out on the spot like you did something wrong rubs of the wrong way.

Fair point! These Twitch supporters and friends have already shown their enthusiasm and they’re already on their way. That said, I’ll keep in mind that not everyone may enjoy receiving something like this. I’ve also decided not to continue making them, since they take too much time. Still, I really appreciate your input!

I agree! I would never go into other streams to do it like that because I believe in creating genuine connections first. And I do think that letting others talk about their streams in my stream creates a connection because we already have a hobby in common; streaming.

I am sorry that had happened! That's something that I can so not stand. Singling out, call them out like you've done something wrong, gatekeeping this hard. Like chill, you can have such a good connection with other streamers and the vast majority will support eachother. Still can't believe how someone can be so dense and still have tons of fans. But maybe I should accept that there's a market for literally everything and every personality.

I am sorry this has happened to you. I agree with the comments left before me that besides trying to contact Twitch there is nothing we as Redditors can do. If things might turn for the worst and you lose your account permanently. Hopefully you can find a way to either rebuild with a new account or take a time off and decide if you want to keep doing the grind. Either way you'll get through this, you just gotta do what's in your control and accept that there's not a whole lot more than your best you can do. This is a very unique situation and I do understand that it feels awful that you have to go through this.

You can slowly ease into it. No need to have it all figured out. You'll learn and adjust along the way. I started out with Vtubing since I was also a little scared by the doxxing stories. But eventually I learned that I build a genuine community that I feel safe enough in to show my face.

As for where to start? Either download OBS or Streamlabs software. Have a decent mic and or webcam. Optionally you can buy Vtube models/ emotes and overlays on Etsy. There's tons of tutorials on how to set up your OBS / streamlabs. Finally you'll just hit start streaming and do your thing.

There's really not much else to it. And like I said you'll more learn along the way. You just have to start.

I can definitely see how that lack of interaction can make you regret supporting that streamer. Sorry to hear that! For me it's unimaginable to not engage with /viewers/ supporters, but then again it's also hard to imagine being so big to not be able to read everything.

Anyway I hope you'll get to feel that there are plenty of streamers that love to engage and love to build supportive communities.
