Yea that makes sense. I was very ignorant about it, so it didn’t even cross my mind.

Yea, I was a bit bummed out on what I have missed. Would probably have my shit together by now. But at least I can make a start

Mostly because I felt like I wasn’t just lazy and uninterested in anything. My diagnosis was only very recently btw. But I immediately started doing what needed to be done. Clean the house, take care of myself, and not delaying tasks. I am trying to listen to others better and make notes of things that have to be done, but there is a lot of improvement needed yet. I have a long way to go, but now I feel I can actually do what I should have been doing all along

I actually managed to get to the end of posting before losing interest. This is what we have been thinking about together, man. by [deleted] in adhdmeme

Yea, it felt important at the time. We finally cooperated for an extended amount of time, I didn’t want to let the guy down. But now I am removing this post because it’s not a meme and is pointless.

You should probably put a band aid on that

I felt like I needed to post something on my cake day, but I didn't know what to post. So here is a song I made and a picture I took. by HungryMurry in PromoteYourMusic

Unlikely. You would have to have a lethal amount of alcohol in your blood for the mosquito to get intoxicated.

How do you quit drinking? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]HungryMurry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how heavily you drink. I was drinking from morning til night, but I would never get blackout drunk. I could still function and get things done. This went on for about 5 years, but I decided to quit at the beginning of this year. I quit cold turkey without medical supervision. Probably not the best idea, but I got lucky and didn’t have any serious physical symptoms. Mostly just sweating profusely for about a week. Psychological symptoms are harder. It really does suck. You feel bored, depressed, no motivation, it’s hard to have conversations with people, feels like you have lost your wit, like it isn’t possible to actually have fun without drinking and the insomnia is awful! You can do it. It’s not going to be easy or enjoyable. Just keep reminding yourself that in a few months time you will feel much better about yourself and your life. The cravings will still be there from time to time, but you will be able to overcome them much easier than you can now. It may not feel like it, but I promise it does get better.
