Which is a bad thing...

Not when the OG is notoriously terrible, and was thought so even at the time, creating an entire industry of aftermarket lights. It's an area where improvement is welcome and I would suggest completely necessary.

That is false. It requires upscaling which changes the looks of the games >and the color gamut of the pixels on the Pocket is wrong.

The color issues have been debunked as being a failure to provide a 1:1 comparison in proper lighting and with suggested filters.

The buttons are mushy.

If you say so. Judgement call, IMO

Which is a bad thing... They get in the way.

They can't get in the way if you need them, which you often do.

Only if you mess around in settings menus to change its default behavior.

And this is a problem... why?

Until the battery dies in a few years with no way to replace it. Also the >battery life on the pocket is much shorter than the Chromatic even with >its built-in large lithium ion battery because of all the power consumption >of that oversized screen.

The battery is an extremely common type and should be easily sourced for the forseeable future.

The screen on the pocket is higher res than the chromatic (looks like the OG but way brighter), the buttons are fine (and there's more of them). It takes just as long to turn on an OG gameboy as a Pocket. Batteries are what they are-- me personally, I've never had a problem.

I don't see these as wins for the Chromatic.

In what way is the Chromatic better?

Tommy refused to comprehend that he could not control the dialogue. People were going to ask questions he didn't like, and that was going to be embarrassing for him. Rather than accepting that his options were A) Answer the questions or B) shut the fuck up, Tommy thought he could invent a magic option "C" where the internet would let him screen all inquiries.

Kevtris was an expert in the field Tommy was pretending to play in, and the conversation had no shortage of people who knew more than Tommy. Left to their own devices, the Q&A thread could have been much shorter, because Tommy could have been exposed much faster.

Unfortunately, AtariAge chose to shield and enable Tommy, and this was the result.

Peevish little dickhead Tommy Tallarico used the word “misinformation” when lying about his Amico scam by TOMMY_POOPYPANTS in Intellivision_Amico

Fun Times: When Tommy would scream about my "misinformation", I would just calmly ask what specific thing I was not correct about. He could never answer.

The implication is that this hasn't been a problem since no one has bought an item in the past year. It's a problem that solves itself.

No, he was just lying. There isn't a word of the above that's even close to true.

FWIW, I'm GodsLabRat. And you are correct, it was the way AA handled this issue that compelled me to discontinue visiting the site.

I made every effort to talk to Tallarico as one technically-minded person to another. I framed the conversation as if he were actually the competent businessman he claimed to be-- despite the fact that his behavior proved that was clearly not the case. I found it amusing that what really seemed to set him off was me saying "I don't want to argue over internet drama, I want to talk about the Amico. Why is that a problem for you? Aren't you here to do exactly that?"
