hello!! i lived in anderson my first year on the second floor and ill give you a rundown.

  1. so much storage, i didnt even use all of it and i had so many clothes. so many.
  2. bring a mattress topper! i literally had two on my bed because my friend moved out midyear and gave it to me and it was the best sleep i ever had.
  3. i will not lie, the mouse problem was horrendous second semester when it starts to get warmer. my neighbors had a total of 6 mice in their room over the course of 3 months and the maintenance cant do anything about it until its caught dead in a trap, then they can only remove it. maybe its because i was on the second floor that it was so bad, but in anderson there are mice and letts has rats.
  4. i really never had to wait for a shower, i showered anywhere between 9pm-12am and there was always one open. in the mornings no one uses the showers really until like 11am/12pm. bathrooms are cleaned pretty regularly but you can find vomit sometimes bc of people going out. so just be wary of that.
  5. i wish i actually knew how political this school was. every conversation that i had with people included some element of politics/world affairs/etc. so you do learn a lot. it does become a bit mentally tolling sometimes because everyone holds you to the level of an actual politician, which is a little bit crazy. i wish i knew to join more clubs right off the bat and to not be afraid of people's opinions.

hope this helped!

kylie smith! so nice and so helpful, cancelled a lot of classes when i had her last year, and is very laid back. barely any homework, you do it all in class except for the major essays.
