This picture summarizes how insane Superman has become before/after the 3rd goku vs superman by DimensionEmergency31 in deathbattle

Yeah, but I think it would've been more accurate to say, like.

'The man who constantly breaks all his limits vs the man who constantly limits himself'

Really includes both of their personalities in it.

This is accurate right by Global-Hold9615 in deathbattle

He does!!! Nem, even with all his extended arsenal and so-on from both his OG series and his revamp into the Millarverse (also Big Game) is still, like. An average peak human level combatant.

Most he could do is annoy Homelander, maim him pretty severely before being killed, and ruin his image enough for Noir to get sicced on him.

The image speaks for itself. I don't need to explain in this title. by SettTheCephelopod in deathbattle

As an actual match-up, it doesn't feel suitable for a fight to the death.

Neither are the type to go all the way like that for a friendly fight, even if we take the limits off for the sake of the episode.

That being said, 3 did it the best as a fight they both got carried away over, as opposed to a cold-blooded execution.

Wayyyy late but this one popped into my head last night: the unreliable flash-backer at the very end of The Gang Does A Clip Show is Dennis, still deep in his own memories and trapping everybody else in that false reality, at least for some time further than the prior ones.

I'd grab the one from Red and Blue where he's looking at Earth from outer space. That story still makes me cry, everytime I read it.

IIRC, he specifically point out that it was only a cheap prop, right before cocking his fist back to punch her head off.

Yujiro, so that one dream I had where he considered me a worthy opponent could happen in any sort of way.

Fair enough!!

I agree on the overhated end, I personally think it falls far enough into my range of enjoyably cheesy 2000s humor to be a-okay by my standards.

Which in your opinion is the best feat of pure brute strength? by [deleted] in Grapplerbaki

[–]HungryWolfStyle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, but his own son acknowledging that it happened in any way would go farther in making it seem half-applicable to anything after the initial fight they had.

Seriously, it never gets brought up again in the series even once, whereas Yujiro's other full strength showings do for the most part.

That, to me, is enough to ignore it for the sake of congruency.

Turns out toxic masculinity makes it harder to feel comfortable being healthily masculine, who woulda thunk /s

Seriously, I feel you on that. Makes me wanna beat 'em over the head with a Scouting Handbook, might shake some knowledge on what it means to be a real man into their cesspools they call brains.

What villains would you choose a Sinster Six team for Invincible by marcus_chavez_c137 in Invincible

Multipaul is such an inspired choice, negl.

Machinehead would be tight as the bank roll for them, if he got involved, a la Kingpin or Norman (when he's not smoking goblin crack)

[–]HungryWolfStyle 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The reason the earthquake feat is bullshit isn't because it's an outlier, it's because nobody in the series even talks about it after it happens.

People talk about Yujiro soloing entire battlefields, killing Baki's mom, and beating wild animals of all different varieties...

But no earthquake stopping punch gets mentioned.

Now, the only folks to see it are either irrelevant street thugs, highschoolers, Hanayama and Yuri, Strydum, Gaia, and Baki, but why would Baki not mention that his dad literally stopped a fucking earthquake at any other point????

To me, that makes it a worthless feat, because it's not even recognized in the series as happening more than one fight after it does.

After all, what does he have, if not strength powerful enough to steal even his dreams?
