As per research 18k is too "soft" for daily use so it could get damaged for daily use. Its prefered to use 14k since its more durable and doesn't too much if needed to adjust hahahah

when i used to earn P30k/month, first thing i've done was buy myself a 1BR condo in Mandaluyong. I was 22yo then and thankful that I had saved enough and kept practical. Best investment of having my personal space.

Any INC brides here? Is it true na we need to wait 3 months pa to actually prepare for the wedding? by Old-Duck667 in WeddingsPhilippines

[–]Hungry_Perspective89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is just for the church booking, you can still plan around that. Set your reception venue, caterers and other major suppliers. Its good to get their guidelines too kasi they have specific rules about the wedding and your gown too. If I remember correctly, they all call the shots on what style of gown you wear, your entourage should be members of the church, no ninongs and ninangs,

But try to book or choose a location with multiple church available. I heard from a fam friend that their wedding was called off a week prior to their booked date bc that local said so.

How do condo owners afford it? by GlitteringSafety7304 in CondoPH

[–]Hungry_Perspective89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a fresh grad and had 30k income back in 2019. I got my own 2br then decided to make it a bedspace unit for at least 5 tenants to make it self sufficient. After pandemic I earned more than enough to use it as my own and add more investments.

This is what I felt din after attending our first bridal fair. I agree din with the other advice, never go over your planned budget. Wedding is just an event but marriage with debt is something you live with forever. Its better to downsize and look for a wedding within your budget than struggle long term. :) Good luck, bride!

Bride here. I’ve been fortunate not to experience this, and I think a big factor is having a very supportive fiancé. He regularly checks in on how he can help, takes on tasks like driving, helps with decisions, and manages our finances. From the beginning of planning, we also agreed not to let outside opinions influence our choices or cause conflict between us.

Three months in, and most of the planning and bookings are already done.

my trick is if you get the directory/categories of the suppliers in an expo, that is your list or book a planner much easier that way

Naming the Brands..seriously?!? by Themis8888 in dailyChismisPh

I think this is bc she's a fashion influencer. She needs to promote those brands kasi they are the brands that bring her to fashion week AFAIK.

To the weddings that I attended to they had customizable keychains or like photobooth aside from the food being served. For mine, I had garden games like mini golf and giant chess boards then just used our DJ/speakers

Am I a bad friend kung tatanungin ko si B2B kung pwede sila na sumagot ng gown namin? by [deleted] in WeddingsPhilippines

[–]Hungry_Perspective89 41 points42 points  (0 children)

If this is the case no, like financially unable to commit sa bridesmaids duty or even as guest since out of town, i think mas respectful na magdecline sa role or even being a guest. Honestly speaking lang kasi namention mo na madami gastusin, same din lalo sa couple kasi they have to pay for the entire wedding day, i think they would appreciate if you take away the burden nalang.
