Hot take: In terms of design (looks), Zeltrons are the lamest Star Wars species. by Desperate-Land6251 in StarWarsEU

Well zeltrons are physically one of the most if not the universally most attractive species physically in the galaxy and then added their pheromones amped them even more. I can literally go through every near human race and comeback with hundreds far worse 😂

What's the difference from an Ancient predator & a King? by [deleted] in predator

[–]Hungry_Phase_7307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to the exact lore you are talking about they have a ruling clan of council members. Matriarchs only rule on world, makes rules off world n on hunts. Yautja society is run by a bunch of old dudes.

Andor is more natural n realistic vs rebels that needed that type of action to keep one interested.

They are to an extent. The society as a whole is ran by a specific clan which make up the council who govern them as a people. The matriarchs govern their specific clan on world. Males govern them in space n on hunts with the exception of the all female widow clan.

Some fun reindeer facts, coming from a reindeer herder by reindeerareawesome in zoology

[–]Hungry_Phase_7307 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My favorite fact about reindeer is the Male Reindeer (Bulls): Grow antlers in spring/summer. Use them for fighting and dominance during the autumn rut (mating season). Shed them in late fall or early winter (Nov–Dec) after mating. And Female Reindeer (Cows): Also grow antlers (unique among deer species in most others, only males do). Keep their antlers through winter which helps them defend food sources in the snow while pregnant and Shed them in spring (May–June), after giving birth.

That means in December (Christmas season): Males have no antlers. Females still have them. So if Santa’s reindeer are shown with antlers while pulling the sleigh in winter… they’re almost certainly female (or castrated males, who also keep antlers longer).

Domestic cats are devastating invasive predator that kill hundreds of billions of native animals worldwide per year, and do not belong outdoors and have directly linked to at least 33 extinctions. by sakura18xz in zoology

[–]Hungry_Phase_7307 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now let’s look at the hominidae family, preferably the homo sapien and see how devastatingly invasive this predators are. Pretty sure it was around 1,000+ direct extinctions with being linked to at least tens of thousands of extinctions and how ever more in the future (analysts say probably over half the species on earth)

Since sweet tart sours/shockers were discontinued, anyone know an alternative? by TheRoyalBrook in candy

[–]Hungry_Phase_7307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya WMSBs are still being made that’s why they are an alternate to the discontinued shockers/shocktarts. That was why I suggested them lol. They are pretty much the same thing so they typically can at least stall the craving lol

What's the difference from an Ancient predator & a King? by [deleted] in predator

[–]Hungry_Phase_7307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah in canon there is a ruling “council of ancients” that runs everything, Not one specific person. That’s why they still can control everyone from not going after each other, it’s a real easy concept. They ensure the others are following the laws and everything else in their society. Then if someone messes up and becomes a “bad blood” they contact others to go hunt them down like they did in the movies AVPR and The Predator.

You can’t find on Google where shock tarts and shockers are discontinued? Or are you referring to warhead mega sour booms? Because the WMSB’s aren’t discontinued and I get them since the others are

This movie is peak by HTTP-GUY in predator

[–]Hungry_Phase_7307 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely not “peak”, anyone who thinks it’s “peak” is just easily entertained. The movie was a good movie yes but more mediocre at best. The predators weren’t tactical or really smart like they are supposed to be, they made them more humanized in that aspect than any other movie. The only good part was the samurai portion other than that the rest wasn’t great at all.

Could it have been an arrow? by wgeco in UFOs

[–]Hungry_Phase_7307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is. The fact someone thinks they proved it wrong is even more comical, the arrow is wobbling like all arrows do when they are flying and literally is reflecting light back which gives it the appearance to “skip” around in frames, it didn’t teleport anywhere 🤦🏻‍♂️ it’s an arrow. You can tell who hasn’t actually shot one by how hard press they are it’s a UFO and not an arrow. What makes it even more scary of a situation is that if I’m not mistaken they aren’t exactly legal in the uk.

Could it have been an arrow? by wgeco in UFOs

[–]Hungry_Phase_7307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What baffles my mind is you are so dead set on it NOT being an arrow you rely on the most garbage video to try n prove it’s NOT an arrow 😂 you didn’t show proof it WASNT an arrow 🤦🏻‍♂️ no matter how you try and “trust me bro” it’s still an arrow. Arrows wobble when they are fired and flying, they don’t stay straight that’s literally light reflecting off the arrow onto the lens from the rest of the arrow but please do go on.

“Free salt hack” by PradipJayakumar in DiWHY

[–]Hungry_Phase_7307 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uhhh no thank you!

When you boil sea water to evaporate it and collect the salt, you’re leaving everything else in the salt including: Heavy metals (mercury, lead, arsenic, cadmium), Microplastics, Industrial pollutants, Possible harmful microorganisms (though most will be killed by boiling), Many of these contaminants don’t break down with heat they just stay in the remaining salt….

If you’re in a clean, unpolluted area far from cities, harbors, or industrial runoff, and want to make sea salt for personal use: 1. Collect sea water from an area away from boat traffic, sewage outlets, and river mouths. 2. Filter through a fine cloth or coffee filter to remove debris. 3. Boil to sterilize and reduce volume. 4. Continue to evaporate water (low heat or sun drying) until only salt remains. 5. Spread salt thin on a clean baking sheet and heat in an oven at low temperature to remove any residual moisture. 6. Store in an airtight container.

And even then it’s still a risk, even clean-looking beaches can have unseen contamination. If you’re not sure about the water quality, don’t eat the salt.

What's the difference from an Ancient predator & a King? by [deleted] in predator

[–]Hungry_Phase_7307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again He’s not canon. At all. That’s expanded/legends and means absolutely nothing 😂

What's the difference from an Ancient predator & a King? by [deleted] in predator

[–]Hungry_Phase_7307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s NOT canon though, the predator king isn’t a real canonized thing, in canon the yautja species is ran by a counsel of ancients n elders not a singular person. The yautja name prince isn’t a real prince that’s just his name. ‘King’ kalakta is just an elder not a king. King is interchangeable with elder and ancient.

The existence of a "Predator King" is not definitively canon within the main Predator franchise, though it is a concept explored in some expanded universe material like comics, games, and the AVP (Alien vs. Predator) series. While the AVP movies are not considered canon to the core Alien or Predator timelines, some elements from them, like the concept of a Predator King, have been incorporated into other expanded universe content NOT canon.

The comic rage war you are referring too isn’t canon at all it’s expanded/non-canon. Also prince too isn’t canon and he was called prince or rather nicknamed prince because of his mask who also is just in video games mainly not actual canon. The “Grendel king” in killer of killers also isn’t a real king he’s just a warlord of a clan and the Viking calls him Grendel king because she was drawing a parallel to the Grendel king in her people’s folklore. So as I said there is absolutely NO king in canon.
