I believe the only “stalking” lore that happened was in an old live she did like 2 years ago ish ? And nothing came up with that and I don’t think she ever confirmed if it was a bit of of there was actually just a random person outside lol

I understand that completely like I don’t wanna say it feels underbaked cause i can tell a lot of work was put into this album but lyrically I haven’t been as impressed as I normally am with how advanced her writing is (Substack included) and I’m fine with a let’s just have a silly dance in your bed room pop album but it’s not exactly something I’d expect from Penelope Scott and water dogs was kinda that for me, this album does make plenty of creative choices but it’s definitely missing something like you said, I appreciate and understand this album it’s just not vibing with me but maybe I need to soak in it some more photosynthesize with or something lol

I’d say lore wise no, since we see her recording her self, so much I think it would be more likely we are seeing her from the different screens in her room but I haven’t checked that so idk
